Next Generation Humanized Mice in Immuno-Oncology - Part II WebinarNext-generation humanized mouse models allow immuno-oncology researchers to study novel therapeutics in the context of a more fully-functional immune system, improving the speed and translatability of their research.

Next-Generation Humanized Mice in Immuno-Oncology

Join Taconic Biosciences for the Part II of our exclusive, two-part webinar series on the exciting applications for advanced humanized mouse models in pre-clinical immuno-oncology research.

Part I of this series, we explored applications for many of the foundational lines of humanized immune system animal models, with a focus on their use in studying combinatorial treatment strategies.

In Part II, we expand into the cutting-edge possibilities supported by models endogenously expressing human cytokines.

Presenter

Paul Volden, PhD Taconic BiosciencesDr. Paul Volden is a Field Application Scientist at Taconic Biosciences. He earned his PhD from the University of Chicago’s Committee on Molecular Metabolism and Nutrition and has over a decade of biological and biomedical research experience, spanning rodent model applications for cancer, metabolic disease, and cardiovascular disease. At Taconic, Dr. Volden assists researchers with in vivo model selection and study design, specializing in humanized immune system mice as preclinical models for evaluating novel immunotherapies.
