Interest in microbiome research has exploded in recent years, driving increased demand for germ-free and gnotobiotic mouse models. To maintain germ-free colonies, researchers must implement specialized techniques and husbandry requirements not needed in standard vivariums. The validation of processes is critical to success, and strict monitoring of isolators and other housing types is necessary to prevent contamination.
In this webinar, Paula Roesch, PhD, will cover appropriate validation of supply sterilization and recommended monitoring techniques for germ-free and gnotobiotic isolators.
